Paul Blackman has been appointed International Director, Office Department at Colliers International CEE & CIS.
The position is a client focused role and Paul will start in January 2010.
Paul’s main responsibilities are servicing the increasing amount of BPO’s in the region and office tenant representation with a view to building a long-term regional client business.
Within this role, Paul will service existing clients across the CEE & CIS regions and targeting and securing new regional opportunities from occupiers.

Paul has 13 years professional experience of working in the office tenant market, 10 of which have been spent in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
During this time Paul has personally closed 70 office deals in 10 countries representing 230.000 m2 of office space and a transaction volume in excess of USD 725 million.
In the past 3 years as Head of the Office Department of Colliers International Russia & CIS Paul has overseen in excess of 220 office deals representing 500.000 m2 of office space and a transaction volume of USD 1.5 billion.
Paul has market knowledge of nearly all of the Central & Eastern European markets including as the Balkan capitals, Baltic capitals, Minsk, Tblisi, Almaty and Baku.
He has personally closed office transactions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Brno, Kiev and Sofia.
Paul has also closed deals representing both occupier and landlord and as the occupier.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Paul worked with Regus Group, Lambert Smith and Hampton and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Paul is a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; he speaks English, French and can operate in German, Russian and Polish.
Magda Cieliczko has been appointed Communications Officer for Central & Eastern Europe.
With her new role she will be running marketing and public relations in the CEE markets including: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and Ukraine.
In addition, she will also be co-running Colliers International’s strategic clients programs.
Magda will hold the role of Local Service Excellence Program Leader driving implementation of all strategic initiatives and actively engaging in the exchange of best practice across the region.
Magda has been with Colliers International for five years.
Lately, she held the position of Director of Operations in Poland. From the beginning of her career at Colliers International, she was involved in communications in Poland and then among the CEE regional offices.
Magda has almost 13 years of professional experience gained in publishing houses and the marketing departments of real estate businesses.
She is a graduate of the London School of Public Relations and Applied Linguistic Studies at Warsaw University. She speaks Polish, English, French and Ukrainian.
