Colliers Poland – Exclusive agent in negotiations for new Hilton Gdansk

The grand opening of Hotel Hilton Gdansk is planned for the middle of 2010. This luxurious, five-star hotel will be the third Hilton in Poland and it will mark another step in the expansion of the brand in the country. Upon opening it will offer 700 m2 of recreation space – including a spa and a summer terrace with a beautiful view of the Moltawa river and the Old Town. The hotel will also offer over 1,000 m2 of multi-functional conference-banquet space, a 24-hour business center and underground parking, as well as the bar and restaurant with the view at the river.

The Hospitality Department at Colliers International represented by Alex Kloszewski supported Jan Wojcikiewicz Hotele in the process (several months long) of negotiating the franchising agreement conditions with Hilton Hotels. The process included advisory services as well as the feasibility study. "Hilton is an extremely prestigious brand, well-known all over the world. We are very proud that we were chosen to represent Jan Wójcikiewcz Hotele in such an important transaction as its exclusive agent," says Alex Kloszewski, Head of Hospitality Department and Partner at Colliers International.

Colliers International's Hospitality Department has operated for 3 years and was involved in many projects, among which the most important were franchise negotiations for the three-star Hilton Garden Inn in Rzeszow, the feasibility study for Prudential in Warsaw and the valuation of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Warsaw.
