Hamptons International Rebrands Boards

The new style boards have been designed to complement the recent corporate campaign launched by Hamptons International to go ‘Beyond the Expectations’ of clients both in the UK and overseas.  In an industry first, the boards will also be used to promote the Hamptons iPhone Application which has been downloaded over 10,000 times since its launch in February of this year.

Long viewed as a quick way to discover how properties are selling in a given area, sales and letting boards are still one of the most popular ways to market a property.  The rebrand took place following a recent study by YouGov, undertaken on behalf of Hamptons International, highlighted that one in three people (33%) look out for sales and lettings boards as one of the first steps in looking for a new property, with property portal websites (61%), browsing estate agents’ websites (59%) and visiting local branches (49%) topping the list.

Hamptons International’s old sales and lettings boards will be recycled at a plant in Newbury where they will be processed and made into milk crates and plant pots.

Shakeel Barok, Acting Managing Director at Hamptons International, commented: “Sales and lettings boards often provide prospective buyers with the first impression of an estate agency business.  Taking this into account, it was vital that our board designs stood out from competitors and reflected the strong Hamptons International brand.

“We’ve applied our innovative approach to the new boards to incorporate both traditional and new ways of buying houses by promoting our iPhone application on the new designs.  Now, as well as advertising a house for sale, the boards will show potential buyers how they can access details of any property through our iphone app.”
