With over 35 years experience in the property industry, working in the residential sector, Hartley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the sales team based on Manchester Road.
‘I’m delighted to be joining the team at Petty’s. I was born and bred in Nelson and it’s such an exciting time for the area with the announcement of the Todmorden Curve. I can’t wait to see the positive impacts the installation will have on the local market as part of the area’s leading property company,’ said Hartley.
She began her career in property in 1976, after having completed a one year course in administration at Nelson and Colne College. She worked with the team at Ingham and Bulcock, starting as a junior and rising through the ranks to become senior sales negotiator. She later joined Clifford, Smith and Buchanan in 1992, clocking up a further 20 years of experience within the industry.
Partner at Petty’s, Ian Bythell said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Val to Petty’s. The current market is a tough one, but we are confident that with her knowledge and experience Val will be an invaluable addition to the team’.
