Since then the company says that the programme has proved to be a huge success with a number of the fast track trainees going on to secure senior position within the company. Successful candidates spend nine months under the guidance of Kate Hurles, management trainer, dividing their time between the Spicerhaart training centre and their respective branches during which time they progress from Trainee Negotiator to Assistant Branch Manager.
At the end of the scheme, they will be eligible to apply for any Branch Manager positions available within the company's residential lettings group or help launch and manage new branches that are scheduled to open. Spicerhaart has opened over a dozen new residential lettings branches in the last 12 months as part of a major expansion programme. Last year Spicerhaart registered over 40,000 prospective tenants and administered up to 5,000 properties on behalf of landlords around the UK.
‘Our staff are the lifeblood of our business, which is why we are so keen to invest in the future through initiatives such as our Management Training Programme. It provides young people with a clear career path within the industry as well as the opportunity to progress to senior positions within the business. I would encourage anyone considering a career in the lettings industry to apply,’ said Andrew Benn, managing director of Spicerhaart Residential Lettings.
