Crest Nicholson unveils two new show homes at Sketchley Gardens, Warwickshire

Crest Nicholson has unveiled two brand new show homes at its Sketchley Gardens development in the traditional market town of Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The three bedroom ‘Seaton’ and the four bedroom ‘Romsey’ have been thoughtfully designed by leading interior designer Edward Thomas Interiors, illustrating the design possibilities on offer for potential buyers.

The two storey three-bedroom Seaton is the perfect home for a range of buyers, from first time buyers, to growing families looking for extra space. The house type benefits from a generous open plan kitchen-dining area at the rear of the property, stretching across the full width of the house and features French double doors that lead out onto the garden. On the ground floor there is a WC and a separate living room, providing ample space for entertaining friends and family. On the first floor, the home benefits from three double bedrooms, with the main bedroom boasting its own en suite and walk in wardrobe. The remaining bedrooms share a family bathroom.

The four-bedroom Romsey is an ideal home for larger families, providing flexible living space to meet the changing needs of modern homeowners. Like the Seaton, this spacious property provides plenty of space to relax, unwind, and entertain thanks to the kitchen-dining area spanning the entire rear of the property, providing direct access to the garden through French doors. The downstairs of the home also features a separate generously sized, light and airy living room as well as a utility room and separate WC. Upstairs, the Romsey offers three well-proportioned double bedrooms, as well as a single bedroom – a perfect space to set up a nursery or home office. Whilst the main bedroom benefits from built in wardrobes and its own ensuite, the remaining bedrooms have access to a family bathroom. The home also provides a garage as well as parking for two vehicles.

Andy Richardson, Managing Director at Edward Thomas Interiors added: “These show homes feature vibrant and bold designs with explosions of colour, luxurious textures and fabrics, and striking wallpapers and wall art. In the Seaton, we’ve used a deep jade green together with gold and ivory accents for a sense of elegance, alongside art deco inspired wallpapers as a statement feature in both the living room and main bedroom. The remaining bedrooms are equally striking, featuring mirrored furniture, velvet bedframes and statement light fittings.

“The neighbouring, Romsey is similarly aspirational, with a sophisticated navy and burnt orange colour palette used throughout. Geometric patterns and lines feature in the wallpaper, panelling and accessories, while texture can be found in the detailing such as studded dining chairs, crystal light fittings and velvet seating. While the main and guest bedrooms are styled as luxurious retreats, the third bedroom is transformed into a stylish home office and the final bedroom is styled for a fashion-conscious influencer including hand-painted canvas artwork of iconic designer stores.”

Vanessa MacNee, Sales and Marketing Director for Midlands, comments: “Our new show homes will give prospective buyers the opportunity to get a real feel for the modern homes on offer at Sketchley Gardens and showcase the exciting design potential on offer.
