Estate agents who have used Street.co.uk’s customer relationship management tools for two years or more have recorded a 24% average increase in instruction volumes compared with competitors, according to analysis published by the software provider.
The performance data also indicates that properties marketed by agents using Street.co.uk’s platform were 23% more likely to reach sold subject to contract status than those marketed by agents using competing systems.
Technology adoption in agency sector
Heather Staff, Co-Chief Executive of Street Group, said the findings highlight the role of technology in managing enquiries and listings in a market where more homes are competing for buyer attention.
“Winning an instruction is clearly important, but ultimately an agent’s job is to turn that instruction into a successful sale,” Staff said. “Seeing vendors who instruct Street.co.uk agents being 23% more likely to reach sold subject to contract status is particularly encouraging.”
Staff noted that technology plays a role at multiple stages of the sales process, from initial vendor engagement and valuation bookings to maintaining communication throughout transactions. The analysis comes as estate agency valuations increasingly reflect operational efficiency.
Market conditions
According to Staff, the data assumes greater significance given current market dynamics. “Seller confidence is improving and more homes are coming to market, but transaction levels remain below where they were last year,” she said.
“With more stock competing for buyer attention, agents need to make sure they are maximising every opportunity and progressing every sale as effectively as possible.”
Staff stated that the CRM system aims to reduce manual administration and improve response consistency, allowing agents to allocate more time to buyer engagement and transaction management.
The analysis was based on agents who had been using the Street.co.uk platform for a minimum of two years, though the company did not disclose the sample size or methodology used to compile the performance comparison.
