The lowest-priced property is a converted neo-gothic chapel in Tarset, Northumberland, listed at £695,000 through YoungsRPS. The building was converted into a home and holiday let in 2013 and features exposed stone walls, lancet windows and a Victorian stained glass window.
The listings come as buyer enquiries in some regional markets show increased activity, though national park properties typically represent a niche segment of the residential market. Properties in protected areas often face additional planning restrictions compared to standard residential sales.
The price range reflects the variation in property size, condition and location, with the Lake District property commanding the highest asking price at £1.35 million. All five properties are marketed as residential homes, though the Northumberland chapel operates partly as a holiday let.
