Reeds Rains has completed the rebranding and reopening of its Newland branch in Hull following the acquisition of Kaye’s Estate Agents, the company has announced.
The transaction includes the transfer of a fully managed lettings portfolio to the new branch. Former owner Neil Kaye attended the opening to hand over the business to branch manager Paul Rogers and his team.
Franchise expansion
The acquisition forms part of the brand’s expansion strategy across Yorkshire and the Humber region. Rogers Stewart, the franchise partner operating the branch, currently runs seven branches across Yorkshire and Teesside under the Reeds Rains banner.
Neil Kaye sold the estate agency as he enters retirement after more than 20 years operating in the Hull property market. The move reflects broader activity among property professionals and franchises in the UK market.
Paul Rogers, owner of the Reeds Rains franchise, said: “We are delighted to be opening the doors to Reeds Rains Newland following the acquisition of Kaye’s Estate Agents, marking an exciting new chapter. Neil built a strong, trusted business in Hull and we are proud to continue that legacy under the Reeds Rains brand.”
Service integration
Customers at the Newland branch will now have access to the wider Reeds Rains service infrastructure, including the MyReedsRains online customer portal and the network of branches operated through LSL Estate Agency Franchising.
Kate Ashley-Ives, Franchise Director at LSL Estate Agency Franchising, commented: “It is fantastic to see another Reeds Rains branch open in Yorkshire, representing the continued growth of the brand and high-quality service the Rogers Stewart team provide their customers across Hull.”
The acquisition adds to the network of estate agencies operating across the UK, as franchise models continue to consolidate local independent operators under larger brand umbrellas. The Hull branch represents Rogers Stewart’s presence in the city’s property market, combining local market knowledge with national brand recognition.
