Property portal Rightmove has extended its partnership with Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) for a further two years, extending the agreement until 31 July 2028 and marking its fourth consecutive year of support.
The renewed partnership will fund WiEA’s annual flagship event, its UK-wide Regional Champions network, and its practical training programme, which offers places at £99.
Established in 2020, WiEA aims to promote equality across all levels of the estate agency sector. The organisation has grown to more than 5,000 members, connecting women through its Facebook group, regional events, training sessions and annual gatherings.
Training programme expansion
The WiEA ‘Power of You’ training programme will continue with new content planned across two events annually. Each event will include two sessions – one at Rightmove’s London office and another in the North or Midlands. Attendance will be capped at 25 participants per session to maintain practical and interactive formats.
Verona Frankish, Chair of Women in Estate Agency, said: “This has never been a networking group. It is a movement that belongs to more than 5,000 women. WiEA has never been about championing a handful of women to the top. It is about every woman in estate agency having the same opportunity to progress.”
Jason Charles, Head of Events and Education at Rightmove, said: “WiEA has built something this industry did not have. A place where people are honest about their careers, where women are backed by each other, and where the next generation can see that there is a route through.”
The initiative comes as the property industry continues to address workforce diversity, with several estate agencies reviewing board composition and operational structures. The sector has also seen technological developments, including new software platforms aimed at modernising agency operations.
The next flagship event is scheduled for March 2027 at the Pullman Theatre in London, under the theme ‘We bring the vibe, you bring the tribe’. The 2026 event attracted more than 450 attendees to London’s Shaw Theatre.
