Showhome opens on fast-selling development in Goff’s Oak

The showhome at Bellway’s Cedarbrook Rise development in Goff’s Oak has been launched and is now open for viewing.

The property will give prospective purchasers the chance to have a look around a decorated and styled house on the 66-home development, which has already attracted a high level of interest from homebuyers.

More than 2,000 potential buyers registered their interest in Cedarbrook Rise before the site launched and five homes were reserved within an hour of the first properties going on sale.

By the end of July, more than a quarter of the homes on the market had sold with all purchases to date having been made off plan.

Buyers have not only been drawn in by the exclusivity of the development but also by the collection of homes on offer. All the properties are part of Bellway’s Artisan Collection, created with the customer in mind from decade’s worth of feedback and are all energy efficient homes, with attractive elevations.

Now prospective buyers can walk around a completed and fully furnished house at the development off Burton Lane, and see all these unique features, brought to life.

The showhome is in The Harper style, which is a three-bedroom house. It has an open-plan kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden and a separate living room. The main bedroom has an en suite and there is also a modern family bathroom.

Greg Allsop, Sales and Marketing Director for Bellway North London, said: “Interest in Cedarbrook Rise has been extremely high so I am sure that a lot of homebuyers will be keen to take a look around our new showhome.

“The Harper is a spacious, light, and airy property that really works for the way people want to live and our interior design experts have finished it beautifully.

“Although many people have already bought homes here off plan, we understand that some buyers like to walk around a real example of one of the homes so that they can get a feel for the style and quality of the properties on offer.

“It helps people visualise how the homes could look once they are living there, with furniture and stylish extras all in place.”

The majority of homes at Cedarbrook Rise have the added benefit of looking out onto a new parkland which is in the process of being created. Allowing prospective buyers onto the development and into a showhome, allows buyers to get a real feel of what life could be like if they purchase a home at the development.

Greg continued: “We are also opening another home for buyers to view next door, a four-bedroom Piper house which will be more of a blank canvas. It is a finished home with all the fittings and floorings in place, but without the interior design styling, giving people a chance to see the essential structure and form of the house and imagine it with their own furniture and decorations in place.”

Cedarbrook Rise includes two, three, and four-bedroom properties, comprising 40 for private sale and 26 homes designated as affordable housing for low-cost rent or shared ownership.

The first homes will be ready for buyers to move into by early 2023.
