Approval has been granted for 56 apartments in Longbridge Town Centre, after Birmingham City Council’s Planning Committee granted planning permission subject to conditions and a S106 Agreement.
The ‘L’ shaped building will be set over four floors, with a 5th storey on the corner elevation, and will include a mix of 35 two-bedroom apartments and 21 one-bedroom apartments, each finished with a balcony or terrace space.
The development is from St. Modwen Homes, the housebuilding arm of developer St. Modwen.

Constructed from brick in a range of grey, silver and blue shades, the building, which will be set at the corner of Cooper Way and Austin Way, has been designed in a modernistic style.
The development is located within Longbridge Town Centre, which includes offices, shops, restaurants, and leisure facilities all overlooking Austin Park.
10% affordable housing will be provided at the development and offered at a 20% discount of the market sale values.
Along with the apartments, the scheme will provide 28 car parking spaces and storage parking for 56 bicycles.
