Stow Brothers to open Islington office this summer

Independent London estate agency The Stow Brothers will open a new office on Upper Street in Islington this summer, expanding its presence beyond its existing East London and West Essex locations.

The agency, founded by Kenny and Andrew Goad, is entering the Islington market with a new branch that will offer residential sales, lettings and property management services. The founders noted a family connection to the area, with Kenny Goad stating that their great grandfather operated a jeweller’s shop on Upper Street.

Management appointment

Russell Gooden has been appointed as Sales Manager to lead the new Islington office. Gooden brings local market knowledge and experience in London property sales to the role.

“We are delighted to have Russell on board. He understands the local market, but more importantly he shares our approach to doing things thoughtfully, with care, honesty and attention to detail,” Andrew Goad said.

The expansion comes as estate agents continue to invest in technology and infrastructure to compete in competitive London markets.

Marketing approach

The office has been designed to align with the Stow Brothers brand identity. The launch will be supported by a creative campaign developed by Studio.Build, which includes a commissioned poem and will run across print, digital and outdoor channels.

The Islington team will begin operating in the area before the official office opening. The move represents geographic expansion for the agency, which has concentrated its operations in East London and West Essex until now.

Upper Street is a commercial thoroughfare in Islington, an area of North London that has seen sustained property market activity in recent years. The agency’s expansion into the borough adds to the existing presence of both independent and corporate estate agents serving the local market.
