Chartered surveyor and entrepreneur Anna Roberts has published a book entitled Home Buyer’s Essentials, a guide on buying a home in England and Wales.
Roberts is the co-founder and chief executive of SelfStorageBooker.com, the digital self-storage marketplace; while she previously worked at firms like A.Roberts Property & Construction in a surveyor and consultancy capacity.
She found that a third (33%) of self-storage users are in the process of moving home, and spotted a gap in the market for a handbook to support buyers throughout that journey.
Roberts said: “A home is one of the biggest investments someone will ever make, both financially and personally — which is why it’s so important to be as informed as possible.
“The property market can be overwhelming with so much information out there from varying sources, so I was determined to publish a resource that’s both helpful and accessible.
“Just one tip from this book could save readers thousands and I’m proud to play even a small part in empowering them to navigate their home buying journey with confidence.”
The book features 50 tips for confident house buying, the book includes everything from understanding the purchase process, to arranging surveys and identifying potential issues.
She is marking the book launch with a free event at M-SParc, Anglesey from 2pm on Friday 28 February.
