Property lead platform rebrands following acquisition

Property lead-generation business iPlace Global has rebranded as PinLocal following its acquisition by AcqSoft in late 2025, with plans to expand its use of artificial intelligence and live data integration.

The company, which connects consumers with conveyancers, law firms, RICS surveyors and removals companies, operates six comparison platforms including Altium Legal, Conveyancing Index, Surveyors Compared, Removals Index, Moving Compared and Compare Conveyancing Quotes.

Technology integration

Under the rebrand, PinLocal will deploy AI alongside live property information, Land Registry records and proprietary data to match customer enquiries with professional firms. The technology aims to provide firms with enhanced information about customers, properties and required services prior to initial contact.

The move reflects broader trends in the property sector, where lead generation and conversion remain key challenges for property professionals. Similar platforms have recently emerged, including Propertymark’s integration of property reports into its referral network.

Tom Durbin St George, chief revenue officer at PinLocal, said: “The value of AI for professional services, particularly property, cannot be ignored. These are essential, often complex services where better technology can make a material difference to speed, efficiency, quality and the customer experience.”

Market expansion

While the initial focus remains the UK property and home-moving market, the company is developing its lead-generation infrastructure to support other professional services sectors in future.

Durbin St George added: “The move from iPlace Global to PinLocal is therefore much more than a rebrand. It signals our investment in the technology, data and infrastructure behind the company and our ambition to build a broader growth platform for professional services.”

The rebrand comes as the UK property market experiences fluctuating transaction volumes, with the integration of AI-driven platforms potentially affecting how conveyancing and survey firms acquire new business.
