West Midlands lettings firm adds block management service

Partridge Homes, a West Midlands-based lettings agency, has appointed two senior staff members as it prepares to launch a block management division later this year.

The Solihull and Yardley-based firm has hired Nicola Hall, who brings 21 years of experience from Scanlans Property Management where she specialised in block management, and Sarah Bannister, formerly of Martin and Co Solihull.

The agency currently manages more than 500 properties across Solihull, Birmingham and surrounding areas. According to the company, the first four months of 2026 represented its strongest start to a calendar year for new lettings since its establishment in 2007.

Block management expansion

The new block management division is scheduled to begin operations in autumn 2026. The expansion comes as demand from freeholders and leaseholders for improved service levels increases, according to the firm.

Managing Director Charlotte Partridge said: “For Nici and Sarah, with their wealth of experience, to choose to join our family business over a number of much larger corporate firms makes us incredibly proud.”

The move to add block management services comes amid regulatory changes affecting the lettings sector, as the company seeks to diversify its service offering.

Industry accreditation

Alongside the service expansion, the family-run business has joined Propertymark, a professional body representing property agents across the UK. The accreditation follows recent government initiatives aimed at professionalising the property sector.

Partridge stated: “We want our landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers to have the confidence of knowing they are dealing with an agency that is aligned with one of the most recognised and respected professional bodies within the UK property industry.”

The agency was established in 2007 and operates two offices in the West Midlands region. The block management division will represent the firm’s first significant service expansion beyond traditional lettings and property management.
