Willmotts has transferred its residential sales operation to eXp UK’s platform, providing access to a network of more than 1,000 agents across the country. The agency will maintain its existing brand identity whilst utilising eXp UK’s technology infrastructure.
The move enables Willmotts to collaborate with agents throughout the network, particularly when assisting clients with transactions outside its immediate market area. This follows recent network expansion activity elsewhere in the UK property sector.
William Taper, director of residential sales, auctions, lettings and management at Willmotts, said: “We are delighted to announce that Willmotts’ residential sales department has joined eXp UK. This is an exciting step forward for our business and one that will enable us to offer even greater opportunities and service to our clients.”
Platform adoption increases
The transition comes weeks after Essex agency NAKED joined the same platform, indicating growing adoption of the eXp model among established agencies. The platform allows businesses to retain their local market presence whilst extending their operational reach.
Adam Day, head of eXp UK and Europe, said: “An agency may have spent years building an exceptional reputation within its local market, but its clients don’t necessarily stay within that market when they move.”
He added that joining eXp does not require agencies to abandon their established operations, instead providing infrastructure to expand their service capabilities. The development reflects broader trends in agency consolidation and platform-based models within the UK property sector.
Willmotts will continue to operate under its existing brand whilst accessing eXp UK’s technology systems and agent network for transactions beyond its core market area.
