Work commences on the final phase of Aberdeen housing development

Construction has now started on the final phase of 18 homes at The Grange in the West End of Aberdeen.

Dandara Aberdeen is building the last four and five-bedroom homes at the popular development on Hazledene Drive.

The latest phase will take the total number of properties built at The Grange to 66 and will include the four bedroom Maple and Beech, along with the five bedroom Yew with sunroom.

Claire Bathgate, Head of Sales at Dandara Aberdeen, commented: “The Grange has to be one of the most picturesque new build developments in Aberdeen, thanks to its careful landscaping and prime location just across from leafy Hazlehead Park which is a dog walker’s paradise with amazing woodland walks and nature trails.

“The final plots are really special as many of them have large, sunny gardens, ideal for buyers who love gardening or entertaining during the warmer months. I think the properties will be particularly attractive to local buyers who don’t want to leave the area they love but crave more space.”

One such property is the Yew with sunroom, home 66, which is priced at £609,950 and can be reserved now with a Spring entry date. This corner plot has a generous, fully enclosed, rear garden which is ideally situated for residents to enjoy the best of the sunshine all year round.

One of Dandara’s most popular five-bedroom homes, the Yew with SR has a spacious layout with an impressive lounge with double doors leading through into the spectacular open plan kitchen/dining and sunroom. Upstairs there are five generous double bedrooms, two of which have their own ensuite, and a family bathroom.

Also, currently available at The Grange is another Yew, (without sunroom), which is priced at £554,950- and four-bedroom Beech, which is available to move into and is priced at £549,950.

Alongside a modern exterior featuring PV panels, the latest homes at The Grange will include stylish, contemporary fitted kitchens complete with high-quality appliances, utility rooms, thermostatically controlled showers, landscaped front gardens and generous rear gardens. Each home also benefits from an integral garage.

The Grange is just over 10 minutes-drive from the international attractions of Aberdeen where residents can enjoy the cafés, restaurants, shops and cultural attractions of one of the UK’s most exciting and rapidly developing cities.  The city was recently named as the third best place to live in the UK by resident review site HomeViews.

Hazlehead Park, with its children’s playground and café, is on the doorstep of the development and there are superb local amenities, and access to the River Dee. An Aldi supermarket opened close to The Grange earlier this year.

Ideal for commuters, Aberdeen train station is just a few miles from Hazelwood and offers regular train services throughout Scotland. For travel by road, residents benefit from their close proximity to the A90 which connects them to Dundee and Edinburgh, whilst the A96 heads further up north to Inverness.
