Estate agency LRG has hired a graduate land consultant to support its operations across the East Midlands, West Midlands and South Yorkshire as it expands its land pipeline in the region.
Annabelle Pick, a first-class Real Estate graduate from Nottingham Trent University, will work on site sourcing, planning research, bid management and landowner reporting. The appointment reflects wider recruitment activity across the property sector as firms build capacity in land-led opportunities.
Regional expansion
David Hutchinson, Land & Planning Director at LRG, said the Midlands Land & Development team has built a portfolio of sites over the past eight years, with projects moving through planning and disposal processes.
“Bringing in a new graduate is the logical next step as we continue to grow, supporting our organic development as well as our commitment to career progression and developing the next generation of land professionals,” Hutchinson said.
The hire comes as agencies across the UK expand their operations and invest in training programmes to address future capability requirements.
Pick said land and development plays a role in delivering housing supply. “I’m looking forward to learning from the team and contributing across this growing part of the business,” she said.
The property sector has placed greater emphasis on talent pipelines as firms adapt to demands around planning, development and supply. The trend follows increased focus on land acquisition and development finance across regional markets.
