Centrick appointed to Crest Nicholson’s managing agent framework

Property management firm Centrick has been appointed to Crest Nicholson’s managing agent competency framework, allowing the company to tender for residential development management contracts across the housebuilder’s portfolio.

The appointment follows an assessment of Centrick’s operations, processes and capabilities. Crest Nicholson described the firm as a “capable and credible managing agent”, citing its structured processes, specialist support functions and colleague development programme through Centrick Academy.

Under the framework agreement, Centrick can now tender for opportunities across Crest Nicholson’s regional divisions, managing residential developments from initial occupation through to long-term community management.

Framework scope

The partnership will involve Centrick providing estate management services for potential new appointments, covering ongoing development management and support for homeowners and residents.

Phil Johns, Managing Director of Centrick, said: “Being appointed to Crest Nicholson’s managing agent competency framework is a significant milestone for Centrick. Throughout the process, we had the opportunity to demonstrate the standards, operational capability and customer focus that underpin our approach to estate management.”

Johns added: “We look forward to working with Crest Nicholson’s regional teams to help create well-managed communities that deliver long-term value for developers, homeowners and residents alike.”

Company background

Centrick has operated in the property sector for more than 20 years, providing services including property investment, build to rent, building and estate management, PRS portfolio asset management and professional services across the UK.

The firm operates from offices in Birmingham, London, Manchester, Gerrards Cross and Fareham. The company states its approach is based on an ethical code centred on trust and family values.

The appointment adds Crest Nicholson to Centrick’s network of developer and residential property relationships. The framework structure mirrors trends seen elsewhere in the property sector, where firms are increasingly joining established networks to access broader opportunities. The agreement provides Centrick with the opportunity to compete for managing agent instructions across the housebuilder’s regional portfolio, though specific contract values or development numbers were not disclosed.
