Property sector consultancy 2point0 Group has established a new division focused on business sales, mergers and acquisitions within the estate and lettings agency sector.
The new arm, branded as Realise, will be led by Joel Osbourne, who brings 25 years of mergers and acquisition experience from previous roles at LRG and Spicerhaart. He joins original co-founders Nicola and Paul Broomham in the venture.
Service offering
Realise will provide services to estate and letting agency owners on both sides of transactions, supporting those selling their businesses as well as firms looking to acquire or merge with other operations.
According to the company, Osbourne and Paul Broomham have completed more than 50 business sales, mergers and acquisitions between them, ranging from small lettings operations to large corporate transactions.
Osbourne, who has worked in the property industry since 1999, said: “After a long career spent both in front-line agency as well as in M&A on a national level, I am genuinely thrilled and excited to bring all that experience together in this new venture alongside Paul and Nicola.”
Expanding service portfolio
The launch means 2point0 Group now offers business advice and consultancy, recruitment, and sales, mergers and acquisitions services. The company, which launched in January, has positioned itself to serve the property business lifecycle.
The move comes as the property sector continues to experience consolidation, with lettings agents adapting their service offerings amid changing market conditions.
Nicola Broomham said the company has received enquiries since its January launch indicating demand for specialist services in the sector. She noted that the division will focus on discretion during and after transaction processes, and will work with owners on longer-term plans to maximise value ahead of going to market where appropriate.
The establishment of Realise reflects ongoing activity in the estate agency M&A market, as businesses navigate evolving market dynamics and seek strategic growth opportunities through acquisition or consolidation.
