35 year old Karen Horsfield, who works at the housebuilder's Cromwell Gardens development in Godmanchester, was announced as the recipient of this year's award during the recent regional sales conference and comes top out of over 80 colleagues.
Karen, who lives in Ely with her husband Scott and two- year old daughter, Beth, comments "Being named winner of the regional award came as a lovely surprise and it's nice to have a sense of recognition for all the hard work you put in."
An exemplary member of staff, Karen was chosen above her peers partly due to the outstanding results she has achieved this year after she secured 54 sales against a target of 39 but also due to her commitment to providing a first class service for her customers.
Jackie Day, Sales Director at David Wilson, comments "This year, Karen has achieved some of the best results not only within the South Midlands division, but throughout the entire region as a whole so she is a very deserving recipient of this award.
"She has a fantastic attitude that is clear to everyone who sees her in action and five of her recent customer satisfaction surveys have come back with 100 per cent scores."
Karen has been working for David Wilson for seven years and become a sales adviser after buying a home at David Wilson's Wakes Meadow development in Ely.
She adds "I was previously working as a retail manager but after having such a positive buying experience with David Wilson, I thought I'd apply for the position of sales adviser.
"It's an incredibly rewarding job and I think the key to my success is my pride in the job and doing it to the best of my capabilities whilst being willing to go that extra mile.
"Buying a home is the biggest investment you are going to make in your life and for me it is important to try and make the process run as smoothly as possible for my customers. Hopefully, this will stand me in good stead to continue achieving a high level of success with David Wilson for many years to come."
Karen is currently based at Cromwell Gardens on London Road in Godmanchester.
