MANHATTAN LOFT COPORATION WINS ANOTHER AWARD FOR ITS

Last week’s award was the Build Quality Award for Large Conversion of the Year at The Daily Telegraph British Homes Awards. It was also Commended in the Conversion Development of the Year category. This award marks the third over the past seven months: in November, it won Gold for Best Renovation at the What House? Awards and in May,Best New Conversion at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards.

It has been five years since Manahattan Loft Corporation, in conjunction with London & Continental Railways, begun this,its biggest project to date, with the coversion of a part of the Chambers into apartments. The apartments compriseconversions of the original state rooms on the second and third floors with period details retained and refurbished and then duplex and triplex apartments with areas of double height space and a more contemporary finish on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors. The majestic, Victorian corridors have
also been refurbished as have the beautiful, original
staircases.

With all apartments sold and inhabited Manhattan Loft’s focus now shifts to the second phase of the project, the hotel. St Pancras London, A Renaissance Hotel is opening
Spring 2011.
