Across the rest of the Group, Connells Residential picked up a Silver award for New Homes, Sequence New Homes achieved a Bronze award and there was another Bronze for Innovation based on the Connells "£99 HIP with Home Conveyancing' proposition. The Group was also shortlisted for Best Customer Services, Sequence was shortlisted for Best Training and Development and regional estate agency subsidiary Sharman Quinney was shortlisted in the Best Medium Agency in the South East.
The judges' highlighted Connells' 'impressive financial results in a tough market', its heavy investment in staff training and the 'entrepreneurial flair' which manifests itself across the business.
"I am delighted that the Connells Group has retained its Best Financial Services title, as well as regaining the Best UK Large Agency title which we have now won five times in the last seven years. Since these awards started in 2004, the Connells Group has picked up 41 awards overall," says David Livesey, Group Chief Executive for the Connells Group. In the financial services category, Connells was praised for its innovative and pioneering ideas which have made it a market leader when it comes to mortgages.
