Commenting on these significant appointments, senior partner Bill Siegle said: "We are delighted to welcome two high profile professionals to our successful teams. The addition of a researcher of Sue's calibre will enhance the success of our already highly regarded research expertise and Darren's skills and experience will provide the impetus to take us into exciting new markets. Cluttons has a strong track in the commercial property sector backed by in-depth data and market analysis and, combined with our international presence, these appointments are key to successfully developing our business."
Darren's role is two-fold, advising on private client fund management both for the FSA regulated Cluttons Capital Partners and also as part of the investment and fund management team in Cluttons' commercial division. Darren comes from a diverse property and private equity background with a wealth of experience working with international investors. He has worked in both the commercial and residential markets in companies including CBRE, ISG plc and Perham Partners.
Darren comments: "A key factor in joining Cluttons was the company's blue chip profile and I believe a boutique investment house and private client fund management offering will prove to be a complementary and logical extension to the services Cluttons already offers. I very much look forward to utilising my expertise to the firm to help grow the business."
Sue Foxley, newly appointed head of research at Cluttons, was formerly the UK research director at Jones Lang LaSalle, latterly heading up residential research. She has expertise in both the residential and commercial sectors with more than 20 years research experience.
Sue comments: "I am looking forward to leading Cluttons' research team to support the exciting developments in this business in both the UK and internationally. I will be working closely with all areas of the business to maximise the impact of our expertise for our clients."
Sue has a MSc in Property Investment and Finance from City University, as well as a MSc in Urban Planning and Policy Development from Rutgers University in the USA. She is a member of the Investment Property Forum and Society of Property Researchers.
