Cushman & Wakefield Acquires Cowen Commercial

Cowen brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and is a market leader with a resume that includes transaction volume exceeding $1 billion. Since opening for business in 2001, the Cowen Commercial Team has represented local, regional and national tenants, as well as landlords, helping them to achieve their goals and objectives.

According to Cowen, Cushman & Wakefield is an ideal fit for his team due to its global platform and full complement of real estate services that enhances the team's ability to serve clients.

In his new position, Cowen is a senior director with Cushman & Wakefield and will continue to serve as team leader. His prior experience includes tenure with Grubb & Ellis and De Rito Partners, where he was a consistent top producer. He attended the University of Arizona, and is an active member and frequent industry speaker with International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Madison, now a senior associate with Cushman & Wakefield, has an excellent history in landlord and tenant representation, working with clients such as Ryan Companies, Westwood Financial Corp., A&C Properties, Inc., Byxbee Development Partners, Leslie's Pool Mart and Bajio Grille. Prior to joining Cowen Commercial, he worked for several years as a leasing associate for Vestar Development Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in regional development from the University of Arizona.

Hoye, now an associate with Cushman & Wakefield, also specializes in landlord and tenant representation, working with clients including Westwood Financial Corp., A&C Properties, Inc., Party City and Liberty Tax. Prior to joining Cowen Commercial, Hoye was an owner and operator of a national retail franchise, which he sold to develop his own real estate investments. Hoye attended Arizona State University.

O'Keefe, client and marketing coordinator now with Cushman & Wakefield, will continue to spearhead the team's overall marketing efforts including but not limited to coordinating all client tours, creating all marketing materials, and preparing and managing all LOI and lease transactions.
