Knight Frank opens Derbyshire office with new appointment

Knight Frank has opened a new office in Melbourne, Derbyshire, with the appointment of Victoria McLaughlin as Sales Director for the region.

McLaughlin brings 15 years of experience in the property sector, having worked across country, regional and residential markets. Her background includes the sale of high-value properties and advising clients on distinctive homes.

Regional expansion

The new office forms part of Knight Frank’s expansion strategy across the West Midlands, where the firm now operates eight offices. McLaughlin will focus on growing market share across Derbyshire and developing relationships with buyers and sellers in the area.

The appointment comes as estate agencies continue to expand their regional networks, with London-based firms increasingly establishing presences in surrounding counties. Knight Frank’s move into Derbyshire follows similar regional expansion strategies across the property industry.

Mitchell Glassey, Director for the West Midlands at Knight Frank, said: “Victoria and I worked together at a previous firm, and she maintains an excellent reputation for focused, client-centric advice and stellar service. I am confident that her experience, local market knowledge, and dedication to clients will be a tremendous asset to the business as we continue to grow our presence across the region.”

The Melbourne office opened this week, providing a base for operations across Derbyshire’s residential property market. The expansion reflects broader trends in the sector, as firms seek to capitalise on demand in regional markets outside major urban centres.
