Fahren Estate and Lettings Agents, a Bournemouth-based agency operating for over 25 years, is converting to a Your Move franchise in a deal that will see the business rebrand as Your Move Fahren.
The move comes shortly after LSL, which owns the Your Move brand, acquired Meyers Franchising earlier this month, expanding its franchising portfolio in the UK estate agency sector.
Franchise model adoption
Julian Ahmed, owner of Fahren Estate and Lettings Agents, said the decision followed an evaluation of various franchise options. “I wanted my independence, but added support and expertise from a national brand that would help future proof the company,” he stated.
Ahmed cited the Your Move brand’s national recognition, marketing capabilities and networking opportunities with other franchise partners as factors in the decision. The agency plans to expand further into Dorset, either independently or in partnership with other franchisees.
The conversion follows recent strategic shifts in the estate agency sector as firms adapt their business models to changing market conditions.
Transition timeline
Natalie Parks, Franchise Director at LSL Estate Agency Franchising, confirmed the agency would benefit from networking opportunities, cost savings and central support services. The transition is expected to be completed within six months as the team undergoes training and customer data is transferred to LSL’s CRM systems.
The franchise model has gained traction among independent agencies seeking the support infrastructure of larger brands while maintaining operational autonomy. The conversion represents LSL’s continued expansion of its franchise network across the UK property market.
